Being new to micro-needling at home, I was hoping there would be more in-depth instructions on how to best do it and also things to avoid, as not to hurt myself. I spent a while looking online before trying it, and boy does this have a steep learning curve - even on the face. I used it for a month and haven't noticed a difference yet. I hope it does something, as I'm getting lines and wrinkles I was hoping this would smooth out. I'll update this if I see a benefit. Note: This is my honest opinion and I hope my experience with the item helps you in your decision.

Great tool quick ship

I was nervous the first time to use this pen on my face but it is so easy to use and you quickly get a hang of it. I purchased it for my fine lines and for small stretch marks and am excited to see how it does. My favorite is using it a few times a week on the .25 setting before applying my nightly serums.

I loved everything about this product, it’s a professional microneedling pen with disposable needles cartridges. Comes with user manual that explains perfectly the correct way to use it. Bought this product to improve the appearance of my skin and reduce fine lines (aging signs) and its perfect because it did just that. It stimulated the skin with the micro-needles. It’s very easy to use and I am very pleased.

Really excellent kit for microblading, comes with an outstanding hard-shell case. This kit is very nice, indeed, and if you're seeking a microblading pen, I suggest you check this one out. The pen itself is beautifully made with a satin silver finish. It looks as though the pen was glass-beaded. Very attractive, very elegant. The kit contains the charging cord, an AC power adapter and 9 needle cartridges (2 types). The charging cord is USB on one end, and USB-C on the other. This allows you to charge from a computer's USB port if you so choose, or anything else that has a USB port. The AC adapter has a USB port, as well. The thing I really love about the pen is the precise calibrations (see photo #6), and the digital LED readout. Unfortunately there is no indicator of battery charge level on the LED readout, but it is very clear and easy to see when working. The pen also works off a single button, which is nice and makes operation simple. One button to turn on/off, and the same button to choose the voltage level. The pen runs smoothly and quietly. Very attractive kit with quality components. Given the quality here I consider this kit a good value.

This is Dr. Pen’s newest model MS8. It is a balanced weight in your hand, sturdy and well-made. The shape is comfortable making it very easy to use during treatments. You can snap open the first layer of the box and underneath you will find the supplies needed for the treatment. There are two of each size needle for starters then you will need to purchase additional ones. It is conveniently packaged in a plastic case so that it is easy use, store or travel with. The directions for use are clear and there is a Dr. Pen site that can and does give you more information. There is also a FB group that can help educate as well. I’m still searching for just the right serum to use. The machine is so much better than the manual roller type treatment. I’m looking forward to great results. I’m very pleased with this order!

I may be partial to the Dr Pen devices since I learned microneedling on one. I have several and I like different things about each one. This one is moved to the top of the list. It has a comfortable stainless housing with a good hand feel. It may be used corded with enclosed 6.5' cord or is rechargeable with the C style USB plug. It comes in a latching plastic case. It includes 10 cartridges, two of each size: 12 pin, 36 pin, 42 pin, and nano needles in stainless and silicone. I appreciate that the advanced cartridges are the same as the A9. The fine needles are designed for comfort. The cartridges are locking and have a valve to prevent back flow. It has six speeds and the smooth motor will go up to 20,000 RPM. It has a low battery warning indicator. The depth dial adjusts smoothly even with gloves under a plastic sleeve. All of that being said, while microneedling is not regulated in many states, proper protocol and sanitation must be followed. Collagen induction therapy is controlled wounding of the skin to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce scars. Done improperly, it can lead to scarring, injury, or infection. Please pay attention I the enclosed pamphlet for proper needles and depth. Watch videos on proper protocol from reputable sources by professionals.

I like the size of the pen. I like the easy-to-read digital display on the pen. This clearly lets me know what setting I am on. I like it is portable so I can take it on the go when I need too. I like the simple easy to read and follow along instructions. I like how it felt. I like that it seemed to work well and help products absorb better in my skin. I use it with my collagen cream or serum for better absorption on my face. I use the round nano for my dark spots. There are different nano heads and needles for targeting my different areas and problems. I can see it makes a difference in my skin. I found the pen well-made and a nice added touch to my skin regimen. I would suggest starting on a lower pen setting until you get used to the needling. I can visibly see that it is working on my face and neck. I like that it does not take too long to use. I like to target certain areas that are problem areas for me. My smile lines and between my eyes and this really helps with those areas. I like it came with few extra heads since I have to use a fresh one every time so there's no contamination of my needle heads. I like I can go to their store front to order extra nano or needling heads for my machine. I like it is easy to recharge the machine and the battery lasts a good while. I like it has a box for storage. I like it came with its own charging brick. I like if I do run out of power, I can still use it while it is charging. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product.

OMG!!! I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I’ve had microdermabrasions before that have cost around $99-$150 per session. This facial pen is the price of one session, but with multiple uses. Each cartridge is individually wrapped for one-time use only. Easy-to-follow directions, please make sure to fully charge before using. I used it on my face, stretch marks and scars making sure to follow the depth and needle instructions per each area of skin. It’s painless, but you are able to feel it. It’s totally worth the price for the quality and products you receive.

This is my first time using a micro-needling pen. I was intimidated about using one, so I hoped the instructions would be self-explanatory. Dr. Pen Ultima M8S Microneedling Pen works very well; however, the instructions could be more straightforward. The instructions specify what settings to use on each part of the face face, but there's no mention of how long or at what frequency. The kit comes with a pen, a case, a charging cord, an AC power adapter, and nine needle cartridges. The pen has one button where you turn on the pen and increase the speed by pressing and holding. The pen runs smoothly and quietly. I tested it on my forehead, and it left my skin red. I did not bleed or bruise.

Very quiet motor comparable to the M8. The M8 lasts 4 hours and I've yet to use the M8S this long. I'll keep you updated on the battery life. The case has push button release which keeps it closed securely. My favorite feature is the cartridges, the other models get serums kinda clogged in the tip however with the indented tips the serums stay on your skin.

I always encourage individuals who are new at microneedling to educate themselves on the safety, sanitation, and proper use of the device before carrying out this process at home. The Dr. Pen Ultima M8S is a very sleek device that offers a digital display that features 6 speeds. The depth knob ranges from 0mm-0.25 mm depth. The manual did provide a chart on which needle type and what depth to use for each part of the face you intend on treating. Included with this pen are 10 sterile cartridges. Also, note that you should sterilize each cartridge with 75% alcohol a few minutes before use. Cartridges included with this pen are, (2) #12 needles, (2) #36 needles, (2) #42 needles, (2) round nano, and (2) silicone nano. I love that it comes with a case to store the pen, cartridges, and charger in. Dr. Pen gives you a cord-free experience with this device. Included also is a USB charger cable and wall charger. Before use, depending on your cartridge choice of either 12, 36, or 42 needles, I suggest using a 5% Lidocaine numbing cream since this procedure could be painful. The Round Nano and Silicone Nano are flat-surfaced cartridges that will not poke your face, so Lidocaine is not needed. Now, during treatment, you'll want to keep your face lubricated the whole time, especially when using the 12, 36, and 42 needles cartridges. This will help the pen to glide over your face more smoothly. Hyaluronic Acid serum is the most ideal. My sound advice is to be completely educated on the process of microneedling before jumping into it. You want to be sure you're being completely sanitary to avoid cross-contamination and potentially making your skin worse. Doing things like washing your face before treatment, pulling back your hair, and avoiding touching anything while performing a treatment are all safe procedures that should be followed. Doing these things will help you avoid infection or severe irritation. Also, once you use a needle it is no longer good. Throw it away! These are one-time-use needles. Overall, Dr. Pen Ultima M8S is a great device that promotes collagen production and the growth of new skin. This leads to assisting issues such as wrinkles, large pores, acne scars, and much more.

My first actual microneedle pen. Dr Pen is highly rated and I feel confident it will live up to expectations. Looks legit with the QR code on the box intact. My facial skin is currently undergoing a healing process so I am not able to use this just yet but I am excited to try it. In the meantime, I have been researching proper procedures and acquainting myself with the process from an at-home session. My initial impressions: It looks simple enough and I don't think I would go to the medical needling stage (deeper) bit I do feel confident in attempting the nanoneedle and the shallow cosmetic microneedle depths by myself. I like the needles come in sterile packaging and are disposable so no cleaning in that regard and I chose this over a roller because I didn't like how the needles entered/exited at an angle. I'm hoping to accomplish some hydration and hopefully a little collagen boost along with better skin texture and brightness. Everything comes in a nice compact carrier with various divided sections, though I am unsure exactly what they are for as nothing seems to fit in them. I also do not know that the circular indentions with holes is meant for unless it is providing airflow to the bottom section under the tray.

If you don't really know what you're doing this is great for you. In the manual it names the parts of the machinery, It tells you what the available needle cartridges are, You'll find how to make adjustments to the needle length and how to apply the needle cartridges. The pin feels of quality because it has some weight to it. I love that a lengthy usb cord and a charger block is included. I received 9 needle cartridges in total. I'm happy with what I got.

You can see the results and effects after the first use. Very easy to use, printed instrumentation was included. There is plenty available cartridges for this pen. I use 36 needles cartridge with Hyaluronic Acid. My cosmetologist recommended me to make this every 5 weeks. Love the results + I can save now about $1800 per year making this at home. Highly recommend.
