I am a beginner and have never tried microneedling treatment before. I saw multiple influencers on YouTube highly recommending the Dr. Pen M8, and seeing their results after the treatment impressed me. I have always wanted to reduce the wrinkles on my forehead, so I decided to purchase it and do it at home. I received the Dr. Pen M8 two days ago, and the packaging was nice. The dermapen itself is lightweight, and I believe it will be easy to use. Tonight will be my first attempt, and I'll update on my progress in a few weeks.

I have used this product twice, once a month. I have dry skin with enlarged pores. I have already noticed great improvements in my skin. The pen is easy to use. You will want to use a numbing cream with it because it can be painful. I am 63, and with all that is available to women in skincare, including this tool, I can honestly say I have the best skin of my life.

I've never used a microneedling pen before, so was a little intimidated. The device itself feels solid and of high quality. I was a little overwhelmed by all the needle options and learning how to use the device. Not a knock on the product, per se, just that if you're new to microneedling, then go into it knowing you'll probably want to do some research to understand when and how to use microneedling in general -- regardless of the features of any specific device. Once I overcame that, this product was pretty straightforward to use, and I'm very happy. I was able to reduce a skin blemish that has been visible for several years. Didn't completely go away, but definitely looks less noticeable. Good product, no complaints.

I ordered in Dec. my MN Dr Pen M8. It will not keep charged only after the second time trying to charge it. I tried contacting someone from contact card that was in closed in package. No one is responding back to my email. I just want to replace it . Could someone contact me please! I'm following back up on my experience they did contact me back and sent me a new one in place of the defective one. Thank you for your customer service!!

So glad I can do this at home instead of going to a spa. Save money and time. Product is legit! I had a small customer service issue and they resolved it very quickly. They were very nice to work with and took great of me. I highly recommend it.

This is a great deal considering the medspa that I frequented uses this same tool and charges you $200 a session! It comes with multiple cartridges and different needle varieties for different areas of the skin. Worth the buy!

I've been researching a lot about microneedling and how we can achieve the same results at home that are offered in clinics. Microneedling is very popular in skincare, but a lot of people do it without taking the proper precautions. Moving from a roller head to a stamping head like this one is a good first step, but I just want to encourage people to also maintain a VERY sterile workspace when you microneedle. This seems obvious, but there are so many horror stories of folks getting nasty infections. Be carful with your skin <3 On to the actual review - the M8 is a beautifully constructed device. It's so simple to use - just one single button that adjusts the speed and turns the device on/off. I also love the disposable sterile needles. This is a great solution to the problem of keeping your microneedling tools clean in a home enviroment. The needles lock in very securely and are made well. If you want to glide the needles across your face I find you need some kind of slip, but because you are microneedling you want to be carful what ingredients you use with it. I find a simple high molecular weight hyaluronic acid serum works wonderfully, and is generally safe to use with the device. It also has the added benefit of helping to keep things hydrated, because one of the temporary side effects from doing a microneedling session is your skin will feel dry for a couple of days afterwards. Make sure you never microneedle more than once a week on lower settings. Anything higher than .5mm shouldn't be done more than once a month! If you want to know more, Claudia Glows on youtube has some wonderful guides on microneedling which helped me tremendously <3 All in all, this is one of the best microneedling devices you can buy on the market! It is way better and safer that the rollers, and you have so much more control. Good luck on your microneedling journey!

I’ve been using a handheld for several years. This is a big step up from that. Be sure when you put the needle head on turn and lock it in. That’s what makes it glide easily.

This is the greatest thing I’ve ever bought! Super easy to use and will save you a ton of money from med spa prices charging you 150 a session. Honestly I was scared doing it myself and watched a ton of YouTube videos on how to use it but it was the best experience!

I had a stretch mark removal tech cancel on me, so I reviewed her videos and realized that this is the device that she’s using – I looked up some videos on people using it on themselves & decided to save $400 for the appointment & just do this myself – I’m glad that I did. I open the box the very first day it the pain level is super low – just make sure to sanitize your skin and start out low with the levels & make sure to purchase a collagen serum to put on afterward- I’m very very excited for the good results to come!

I am no stranger to microneedling and the Dr. Pen brand as I own an Ultima A6S. After awhile it was finally time for an upgrade so I purchased this M8 and it has been great. It's significantly lighter than my old unit while maintaining the same quality and ease of use that I'm used to. I also love how they always come with a good amount of replacement cartridges that last for a fair amount of time. The one thing I miss is the spare batteries with my old unit but this one was a bit cheaper anyway. It's pretty quick to charge too!

Works great. Not happy the old pin cartridges did not work with the new Dr. Pen. The new one is a little harder to turn the dial settings.

I love this Dr pen. It’s made of metal and is of high quality build. Feels good in the hand. So far I’ve used this pen 3 times and it’s worked flawlessly every time. Each time I’ve used the pen for about 20 to 30 minutes at a time and I’ve had zero issues with battery lasting. Pen comes with a nice protective case, along with three 36 pin and three 16 pin cartridges. The cartridges attach to the pen easily and the needles are sharp. (As a side note, if you are new to microneedling use the 36 pin cartridges first because they’ll penetrate your skin not as deeply due the increased surface tension that the 36 pins have against your skin in comparison the 16 pins. Thus the greater number of needles equals 🟰 more likely to bounce off the skin.) Another important factor is that this pen is authentic and comes with a verifiable QR code on the box that can be verified on the official dr pen website. This is important because when I was doing research on these pens I read that some of the other sellers sold counterfeit Dr pens. So it’s nice to know that this seller is legit and that you’re getting the real deal with them. The pen also comes with a two year warranty. Which I love to see that this seller stands behind their product. Overall, I’m super grateful for the folks over at Lifewit for selling a genuine product at a reasonable price that they stand behind with a warranty. Thank you.
