This is perfect!!!! I paid $700+ a few years ago to have someone do this for me. You know a “spa”. I saw results and wanted to see more but not at that price. I can dial in the depth I want my needles to go in. The instructions are clear as to the maximum depth per area. Coconut oil for afterwards no matter what. Lidocaine for before so you can handle the pain. My acne scars are less today than they were two weeks ago right before I did the first treatment. I love this. One cartridge per use. And if I only do it once a month I’m set for the whole year cuz they gave me 12.

I washed my face then i applied a topical numbing cream for 15 minutes and then used an anti-aging serum so the pen would glide on the skin, works awesome just like the medspas and high priced in office microneedling treatments. Totally worth it.

After doing a lot of research on microneedling I decided to go ahead with it. This is obviously my first pen, so I don't really have anything to gauge it against. I don't numb up for it, so I feel everything the pen does, and I can tell you that it doesn't drag or scrape during movement across the skin at any of the speed or depth settings. I've used the pen 6 times for deep sessions (settings up to 2.0-2.5) and have used it at it's highest speed on many occasions. I've never experienced any problems with the needling mechanism or any damage to my skin caused by the pen.....other than what it's supposed to be doing, I mean. I've seen great results from using it over the past 9 months. It holds a charge really well and I've never had it run down on me during any of my sessions (which can be 30-45 minutes). It charges back up quickly, as well. One thing to note is that when you change out the needle tip you need to have the depth setting at 0 or it won't set in the pen correctly. It will still operate even though it's not all the way down into the slot (there should be something changed about that). You will immediately know the difference though, so just take the tip back out, move the depth setting to 0 and reinsert the tip. You can order replacement cartridges (12 & 36 needle) on Amazon for it. I've used both and had no issues. For my first pen, I'm very satisfied with the way it functions and how durable it seems. I've seen no reduction in the way it performs after 20+ uses. (I needle lightly once a week and deep once a month). I STRONGLY suggest doing your research on the devices, the proper depths for various areas on your body, the products it's safe to use, and the no-go areas, safety, and proper sanitation/hygiene practices. BEFORE you begin microneedling. This is not something you want to just "try out" without taking what you're doing seriously. This device is a great intro machine for microneedling, IMO.

I’m a middle aged guy (yep) who believes in better living through chemistry and science. And there’s plenty of actual science behind microneedling. So far, I’ve performed two thorough treatments about 4 weeks apart, and the results are obvious and unmistakable. I had developed a bit of facial sag along the jawline after some recent weight loss, and this beauty eliminated about 75% of that in two treatments (I’ll do another one or two when I have time). Don’t even think of using this device if you’re anxiety-prone and afraid of a little pain. You *will* experience some mild pain (say a 2-3 on a scale of 10), your face will bleed a little (it’s OK—the disposable needles are sterile), and your face will look like it’s been rug burned for an evening (do the procedure at night). But by the next day, there’s just a little irritation left, and a day later pretty much no visible redness. And then over the next few days and weeks, there’s noticeable tightening. The bottom line? This device works, and it’s much less expensive (but still perfectly effective) than other similar devices. Just don’t whine when you experience a little pain and irritation. You will, but the longer term results are worth it.

This Dr Pen is really good quality. It can be used with or without the cord. This helps improve skin tone and texture. It’s easy to use. It doesn’t hurt as badly as you would think. The benefits are worth the risk procedure. Works great with Casa de Baja hyaluronic acid.

This is such a treat! I just turned 40 and have fine lines, deep wrinkles, age spots, acne scars…. The whole nine yards. I’ve never had this professionally done but I’ve used a derma roller for years. It’s a great way to exfoliate and stimulate cell turnover. This is fairly easy to use and doesn’t necessarily hurt; it can be a little uncomfortable but nothing more than a pinch. My skin gets VERY red and looks like I have a sunburn after, but only for a few hours. The next day it feels tighter, smoother, and more even. Tip: make sure wear a good SPF after treatments!! I also use a Cica cream (centella asiatica, aka Tiger grass), which calms redness and provides a lot of moisture post-treatment. Highly recommend it! Hope this helps. 😊

This A1 microneedling pen works just as expected. I like that it includes different needle attachments. I applied serum first to create a smooth surface before applying this microneedle pen. My face turns red afterwards but dissipates by the next morning. Overall I like this easy procedure. *Thanks for reading my review & hope it helps make your decision easier*

I’ve had a derma pen before, which I thought was great, until I saw this one. It is built so much better! You can really see and feel the difference in quality. Easy enough to use (if you have previous experience or after a couple of tries if you’re new to this). If you learn how to use this properly, you won’t regret it. Recommended!

I have gotta say that Dr. Pen never disappoints with his micro-needling units, and it’s the same for this Ultima A1 model that I was fortunate enough to get to review. It comes with 6 cartridges, for numerous treatments. Do NOT use the same cartridge for more than one treatment. It can be tempting, but never do it! Bacteria is lurking no matter what you do, as this DOES actually go into the epidermis on a deep enough level for infection from reuse to be possible. SOO not worth it!! Using a quality derma-pen like this one can save you THOUSANDS of dollars in the long run! These treatments can help reduce pore size, help with wrinkles & finer lines, maybe even help prevent them, possibly. I definitely, I wish I had this back in my younger days to protect my skin for the here & now, but as they say.. better late than never. It can also help improve skin texture, acne scars & uneven skin tone. This is a quality, well-priced, budget unit, that still possesses the quality in parts of slightly higher-end models. IMPORTANT: The key is to go easy to start, and watch some You Tube videos, as anybody can learn to micro-needle at home, but you should be educated a bit before starting, to avoid any difficulties or complications. Definitely, a sweet buy & a worthy investment for the youth and beauty of your skin, from this moment forward 👍! Thanks again, Dr. Pen! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **I hope my review has been helpful 😊!**
